The last of the Winter features at Belmont is the HG Bolton Sprint over the 1200m.

They've drawn together twelve runners with quite a few resuming from spells which isn't always easy on a heavy track.

But in hoping there will be enough pressure in this race, keen on having something on Last Of The Line given his first up record.

The Blackfriars 4yo is two from three first up and has also won on soft going.

Last time in he was good enough to win the Detonator Stakes coming from well off the pace.

And even though his form is over slightly longer than this, he can hopefully land midfield at worst and be really strong through the line.

Another interesting horse who is back from a spell is Giant Leap who will be running in the previous race.

He is a son of Iffraaj and is yet to miss the placings on damper surfaces.

He is however yet to win from a break but he is at 1400m here not at a sharper journey.

The gelding does prefer to get back so William Pike will have to be ducking and diving at times.

But he was a winner over this course and distance on a Soft 6 basically 11 months ago so this could set up well.
