Dreamreacher is on the cusp of a win after two seconds this campaign and gets his chance to break through at Eagle Farm on Saturday.
Gillian Heinrich's gelding kept chasing when runner up in a C6 first up then hit the line well to go under by just a nose last start at Sunshine Coast.
That effort suggested Dreamreacher is looking for the extra 200m now and has placed in both previous third up attempts so should be peaking.
He looks well placed in a C3 with James Orman going aboard for the first time.
Kelly Schweida's consistent gelding Schweid As looks an each way player earlier in the program.
The four-year-old has had one run back from a spell where he raced on the pace and fought on well to go under by less than a length.
Schweid As has won a trial since so should have come on and Jim Byrne sticks with him.
