It’s a typical Magic Millions race day at Gold Coast on Saturday with big fields and multiple chances across an intriguing program.
With very few standouts it could come down to the last race of the day where Miami Fleiss looks well placed.
The progressive mare struck a heavy track last start and while she was out of the money she didn't give up, finishing just over 3L away.
Expecting firmer footing to work in her favour this time and while she draws wide she overcame a similar barrier when winning a Listed race first up two back.
Miami Fleiss won her only try at this distance and that came at this course.
Stephanie Thornton has won two of three rides on the Gollan-trained mare and the pair can finish the big day on a high.
Our other bet also comes up late in the program in the shape of Team Snowden's gelding King Of Sparta in the Guineas.
The gelding was an eye catcher fresh, settling towards the rear of the Listed Gosford Guineas field but running on well to place and finish less than a length away.
His sectionals that day were impressive and he should relish the extra 200m with added fitness on his side.
Nash Rawiller goes aboard and if he can get King Of Sparta into the clear he could be tough to hold out.
