The last day of the Adelaide carnival features five group races including the G1 Goodwood.

Fancy the 3yo Extreme Warrior can continue the run that the Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr stable is having at present with Jamie Kah aboard.

But one of those aforementioned group races is the RA Lee Stakes and we're taking the best placed horse this weekend as Dalasan gets his chance against inferior opposition.

In totally conceding he has not won a race in 25 months, since that Chairman's Stakes win here, he has contested no less than 17 G1 races.

He has run superbly in many of them without tasting success such as the placings in a Doncaster, Queen Elizabeth and Epsom while behind the placings in a Turnbull, Cox Plate and George Ryder.

Undoubtedly it can be tough to remember how to win but surely back to a G3, against many who similarly have not won loads of races and what's more, carrying only 55kg under the SW&P scale, he's brilliantly in here.

Hoping they put him into the race and get him active before the corner rather than trying to nab them late.

There is a bit of similarity for the second tip in the SA Fillies Classic as Douceur hasn't won since her 2yo days.

But this filly came good in the Spring when sitting on the speed and toughing it out to place in the Wakeful Stakes and VRC Oaks behind the same rival Willowy.

This campaign has built similarly and she was very solid in the Australasian Oaks but now she's at the right trip.

Just want Patrick Payne to have Michael Dee send her forward to overcome the draw straight away otherwise she will be back last and having to circle 15 opponents.

This looks the target but because of the barrier, reckon we'll do much better on race day.
