We head to the Gold Coast for Goldmarket day and it will be a track with plenty of give in it.
In the Gold Coast Stakes, Capetown Hussey looked one run short second up at Doomben.
She should be fitter now and can obviously handle the going. Already a winner over this course and distance, she will probably get back again and move into it around the 600m.
Think this is the race she can peak for against some similar opposition to last run a fortnight back.
Onto the Goldmarket and just hoping the track isn’t a real heavy one.
Based on his career to date, it is hard not to think Snitzkraft won’t go mighty close.
After leading all the way in the Falvelon to end 2017, he went to Magic Millions day at this course and beat home everything but the flying mare Viddora.
He was giving away age there and was beaten only a small margin by comparison to others.
Well placed at the weights, he’s been able to get in a trial too.
