Following an excellent win last start, reckon Optimize can come to town and run well in Race 4.
She led all the way at Murray Bridge in a BM70 and importantly this time has a 3kg claim for a jockey riding well.
There is nothing wrong with her form on affected ground and putting herself on the speed is potentially a good concept around here.
Her early pace will offset the gate quickly too.
Onto Race 5 and now that he is fit, can happily think Temps Voleur is ready to be running well again in this sort of BM86 company.
He had no hope in the sprints early in the prep, nor during the Warrnambool carnival.
But then once over to Adelaide and up to this journey, he worked to the front and held on nicely.
He has handled softer tracks previously so if the expected rain arrives in enough quantity, the six year old might be hard to run down.
