The metro meeting this week has gone to Gawler with bigger fields toward the end of the day.
Darren Weir has a former NSW mare Perfect Rhyme in his stable now and she is well in after the claim.
She will not mind if the track is a little on the softer side and she is hard fit and better suited going back up in journey.
Consider she was an Oaks placegetter on softer ground.
Last run was a much better effort and if she gets some control, she can run you a very positive race.
Lindsay Park’s Eltizaam draws a lovely barrier to give him ample opportunity to get back to winning later on.
Following an excellent performance at Geelong, second up he didn’t get into the race.
The added furlong on Saturday is important and he runs his best races sitting forward. That should happen again.
That last run might give us better odds on the weekend.
