We have Group 3 action so early in the season in Adelaide with the Spring Stakes the highlight.

Scales Of Justice Picture: Racing and Sports

It would take some doing not to be impressed with the way Scales Of Justice ran first up in Melbourne.

He sat off the back of a good speed and rounded them up so easily in the Bletchingly Stakes.

This race is hardly any harder – in fact is easier depth wise. Admittedly the Goodwood quinella did accept.

But at WFA he is well in given he should be giving heaps of weight to most of them.

It doesn't matter too much how it will be run as he will track up the three wide train and either be close enough if they go slow or slot in if they string out.

Onto the last where Tony McEvoy has an interesting three year old resuming.

Outlandos takes on the older horses in a BM64 coming off his juvenile campaign which ended in a close fifth in the Sires Produce at Flemington.

He won a trial before running here so looks to have come back in good fettle.

There are certainly no champions running and from the nice draw should be able to slot in just off the back of the speed.

Just want the leaders to roll along as he is bred to get a mile later on.
