Could be a tough day in Perth so we’ll go for some plays late in the day.
Suggesting Simon Miller can have Alpha Sky ready to win first up in the last race.
He is being asked to carry some weight but with 2kg off for Chloe Azzopardi, that is helped a bit.
All his best form is when racing on the speed and that suits a horse asked to carry weight.
Unbeaten first up which augurs well here, his defeat to end last prep did come in a Listed race so that is easily accounted for.
He's had two trials to be ready also, so fitness won't be an issue.
While he hasn't won for some time, we reckon In Love With Paris is a good hope of finding the post over the 1400m in Race 8.
He closed off well last outing when well in the betting and should get a soft run all the way here.
Not meeting a field in grand winning form, the Rogano gelding has a fitness edge on a few of the main rivals.
