There is Group 2 action with the Lee Steere Stakes in Perth and there are many hopes in that race.
So we'll go away from that and back the one William Pike has chosen to ride in Race 3.
That is Western Temple who won over this course and distance two weeks back.
He sat just off the speed then and can do exactly the same from barrier 3 in this.
He'll probably want to dash turning for home to get a little march on some rivals in case they are strong late.
Clearly he has his mojo up and is the one they have to get past.
Following a win first up, it is hard to see Uni Time not running a big race again in the last race.
He got back from a wide draw in that race but charged home to win by a good margin.
You'd think from this low draw that he can sit much closer and he's probably even better suited at 1200m as well.
The current price is probably as short as you'd want but thinking he'll still go mighty close.
