The week leading up to the Railway Stakes program has plenty of fascinating betting races.
The rail is out 10m which may make it more difficult to make up ground around the tight last corner at Ascot.
Hoping that may mean they fire out Valour Road from the outside draw in the Colonel Reeves Stakes as he has a great chance if ridden positively.
Don't forget after winning the Euclase, he then had a widish alley in the Goodwood and was outside the speed there against G1 horses.
Well supported first up, he could have been a run short but the added 100m and closer to the likely target of the Winterbottom means he's a hope at nice odds and we should get better.
Another who is capable to being right on the speed is Sophie's Song and she has prospects in the last.
The mare is set up well for this being third up at a mile. She also draws the inside meaning she can kick up and lead or be behind that speed.
She will be down nicely in the weights and most of the other main chances in the betting have double figure gates from this start.
