During the holiday period courses are very busy but Ascot has at least been spaced out.

We are going for a carnival filly who is dropping way back in company and seems a good price as our best.

Sanabreanna was excellent behind two top fillies in Kay Cee and Tuscan Queen in consecutive runs before winning the Lee Steere Classic three weeks back.

She won't be that far off them in this field and after the claim is so well placed as the stakes winner in this line up.

As long as they don't go at walking speed she is in a very winnable event.

Even though he was beaten a little way last run, there seems very nice each way value in the form of Spiritual Warrior in the ATA Stakes.

He's been running in some Listed races before tackling the Group 2 Ted Van Heemst Stakes when leading up.

The 5yo has been carrying this same weight at WFA so doesn't look badly off at all in what appears a weak staying race.

Obviously heading to the Perth Cup, he needs to be sticking on well now and Lucy Warwick might get going to make it a test.

Happy to play him at the good odds.
