The Scenic Blast is the main race on the day at Ascot but we’ll go elsewhere for a winner.
It is easy to think Inspirational Girl will be better suited this week than first up even though we thought she could win then.
She clearly wasn't ready as the betting showed but still came from a long way off them to rattle into second and just miss.
This time she gets another month of work and another 200m as well. That can only benefit a daughter of Reliable Man.
Pike probably has to go back again from the draw but watch her final furlong again today.
There is a decent 3yo sprint earlier in the day and could be some value in the form of Comes A Time.
He won on debut at 1000m then went to 1200m and onto a heavy track. All that was probably too much as he weakened out.
Has trialled around the same as he did before the initial outing and in that run he did defeat Holy Ghost who will be one of the main contenders again.
From the inside draw, Jarrad Noske can sit on the back of the speed and run a really good race.
