We’ll wait for the last race for our best at Morphettville on Saturday.
And if any rain arrives, it will only make us more confident of Westport.
This filly resumes after taking on some of the better fillies and in black type races early in the Spring.
She won the Oaklands Plate in Adelaide and then got all the way to the Edward Manifold. Perhaps she simply didn't run it out.
First up at the short course, she finds a lovely race to camp on the back of the speed and it should be good speed at that.
The McEvoy yard deserve a change of luck after last week and this may be part of that.
Earlier in the day Just Chipping Away runs in Race 6 and looks a big chance.
This mare doesn't know how to run a poor one. She has been close up her last six attempts.
Just a head back at Murray Bridge two weeks ago, she will carry little weight after the claim and isn't meeting a strong line up.
She should be able to sit a bit closer this time from the alley and look for runs when they present.
Hoping for a better price on race day.
