It is closing in toward the Autumn carnival where the Derby is the highlight and there are some Listed races on the card.
The Challenge Stakes is one of those and the big Williams yard has the two main hopes.
Given William Pike has chosen Superstorm over a G3 winner, we are happy to tag along for the ride.
He battled on tenaciously to close into fifth in the WA Guineas and then ran a cracking race in the G1 Kingston Town Classic, just missing the placings.
He's got a bit of dash to use the barrier and that might be important in holding track position on the stable mate. Tuscan Queen is clearly good but might be more an Oaks filly.
There will be interest in a few runners in race 7 but third up at the 1500m off a win seems a good formula to back Media Baron each way.
Coming from near last on the corner, he rattled over the top at a shorter trip and so this appeals even more.
He will give away ground early but there should be enough pace on to help there.
