Chris Anderson's talented three-year-old is a horse on the up and finds a race to suit in the Tanqueray Handicap over 1400m.

After scoring three wins and a close second from four starts at his maiden campaign, Profit has taken on the brilliant Alligator Blood in his two starts so far this preparation and has done a good job.

He ran on for second beaten just 2L when resuming in the Group 3 Vo Rogue Plate then kept chasing when midfield in the Magic Millions Guineas.

Both of those were over today's trip and while Profit may ultimately want further he comes off a six-week freshen so the trip should suit at this stage of his preparation.

Profit has yet to miss a place at Eagle Farm and there are no Alligator Bloods in the field today.

Consistent mare Gypsy Toff looks ready to win third up in the Trump Flooring Benchmark 70 over 1000m.

The Tom Button-trained four-year-old has run fourth at her two starts since a spell, both at this course and distance.

She backs up after finishing 2.4 lengths away last week and gets the 3kg claim of apprentice Zoe White to offset the weight.

Gypsy Toff is a four-time winner over today's distance and has a 50 per cent strike rate third up so gets her chance to win.
