We start to gear up for the Ascot Autumn with some Listed 3yo racing on Saturday.

Tipping the fillies race (Ascot 1000 Guineas) is a very decent race but we can still suggest that Tuscan Queen second up is the best horse and the one to bet on.

She was left with far too much to do in the Challenge Stakes and the winner has headed onto bigger things.

No doubt she'd be on an Oaks path, and the blinkers on means they'd be hoping she races closer.

Now at the 1800m, consider she won the Champion Fillies coming from near last beating top drawer fillies and then ran the favourite in the G1 Kingston Town.

To say this is a lower grade is a tad understating it. Use her as the banker for the day.

There might be some value in the boys division about Kelvin (Lex Piper Stakes).

First up at the mile suggests Fred Kersley would have given him plenty of work so as not to bottom him out and with others perhaps having had a big target last time, he might catch them out.

No surprise to see Kersley with this breed, and that he's probably on a Derby campaign.

He has shown he can take up a position over even shorter and his WA Sires effort was excellent. A damper track could help there.
