Brisbane Best: Doomben – 4th April 2020

Talented filly Niedorp looks well-placed to make a winning return at Doomben on Saturday.

Tony Gollan's three-year-old hasn't been seen since the spring in Melbourne, her last appearance a fourth in the Group 3 Red Roses Stakes during Melbourne Cup week.

Before that Niedorp led and fought strongly before going down narrowly at Moonee Valley.

She looks suited back in Queensland and has never missed a place fresh so expect her to be wound up for this off a solid trial.

Niedorp hasn't been out of the money at Doomben and jockey Baylee Nothdurft should secure her the right run from a good draw.

Capable filly Jeweliana looks an each way prospect in the following race.

Steven O'Dea's filly made an encouraging return to racing when she found the line well to miss by just a head at Gold Coast.

That run should have brought her on and she is proven fresh so can be expected to have improved.

Jeweliana has put together a handy record and her best ratings stack up well in this line up.
