Sydney galloper Milk Man looks primed to win at his second Queensland outing on Saturday.
The Matthew Smith-trained gelding steps up to 1800m fourth up after placing at his past two starts and should be at peak fitness now.
Milk Man headed north off a third at the Kensington track then hit the front but was edged out by a nose over 1600m at Doomben last start.
He placed at his only previous attempt at this distance and his ratings are good enough to win this.
Soxagon won't offer any flash odds earlier in the program but he looks hard to toss.
The four year-old is ultra consistent with a string of wins and placings before the spell and picked up where he left off when scoring at this course and distance first up.
He is drawn to get a better run in transit this week and with added fitness on his side he can go right on with the job.
