Say From SA: Murray Bridge – 4th July 2020

Plenty of good sized fields this week in the SA meeting at Murray Bridge.

One horse who did win there last time, and very impressively indeed, was Eluding and he gets the chance to back that up three weeks later.

The gelding raced around the pace over the mile and loved that step up in ground.

When he let go, the son of Toronado burst clear and now he faces another added furlong but that should only help.

This time facing the older horses, he drops in weight and there should be enough speed to get over into a decent spot.

There is not too much winning form away from him amongst these either.

Earlier Race 4 is a richer race for the 3yos where there appears some value in the shape of Glory Game.

Another one by Toronado got bogged down in a strangely run race two weeks back when the field came down the outside rail and despite being in the betting, saw the race lose some structure.

After the claim for Teagan Voorham, she will carry about 51.5kg which is almost a non-happening these days.

Thinking she can push up to at worst be midfield from the draw but likely better and any sprint with that weight could be very important.

At the good odds, reckon we can have a play each way on her.
