They run the Beaufine Stakes at Belmont on Saturday in what seems a three horse race.

We are confident that Samizdat can sprint well fresh. He would win the Asian Beau and then ran a corker in the Railway to just miss the placings.

Last campaign was the first occasion he missed first up. He's been a winner all the other three times.

He also loves this track and from the draw can settle around midfield near the inside.

With the expected speed from those who aren't up to this level, watch for Jarrad Noske to go ducking and weaving to finish over the top.

We'll stay late in the day for the other play as Levitate can be getting a deserved win over the 1200m.

He has been so close the last three without scoring and while it looks like a wide draw could be an issue, his early speed is critical.

That is often a good thing for a leader and Paul Harvey takes over now.

Getting some control in a big field around here can leave the backmarkers in a world of pain and the main danger could be a long way back on the fence.

However that horse is ridden by William Pike in the last race so you can bet those punters looking to get out will unload and we'll get a better price.
