Brisbane Best: Doomben – 5th September 2020

3 minute read

With no Kisukano to take on this week, progressive filly Mishani Miss looks well placed to return to the winners’ circle at Doomben on Saturday.

Trainer Stuart Kendrick Picture: Racing and Sports

Mishani Miss settled back but ran on to beat all but the brilliant Kisukano over 1200m at Eagle Farm last start.

She drops back to 1000m but that should work in her favour as both career wins have come at the distance including an easy 2.8L success at Eagle Farm two back.

Mishani Miss is drawn to get the run of the race and gets in well at the weights with the aid of a 3kg claim.

Trust In Aloha is still a maiden but that could change on Saturday.

The Stuart Kendrick-trained filly has her hoof on the till after placing at her past two starts, the latest when stepping up to this distance for a 1L third at this course.

Like Saturday that was an open three-year-old contest and it should have brought her to peak fitness fourth up.

She is drawn to get the favours and ratings suggest she is offering some decent value.
