Pull Anchor will relish a return to 1200m and looks well placed at Eagle Farm on Saturday.
Tony Gollan's mare has been racing in good form, last start chasing strongly for second in a similar-grade race over 1400m at Sunshine Coast.
All three career wins have come at 1200m – including her last attempt at the trip at Doomben three back – so she will enjoy the drop in journey.
Ryan Maloney sticks after riding Pull Anchor for the first time last start and ratings suggest she will be tough to beat if she races up to her recent efforts.
Syd's Footprints could be worth an each way gamble later in the program.
The five-year-old improved plenty at his second run since joining Barry Baldwin this campaign, fighting strongly for a close third at Doomben.
He has won two of three previous third up attempts and has twice been successful at this distance so could measure up at double figure odds.
