Brisbane Best: Eagle Farm – 3rd April 2021

Progressive three-year-old Clearance Sale looks well placed to make a winning return at Eagle Farm on Saturday.

The Team Guy gelding showed good ability at his maiden campaign, winning twice and progressing through the grades in good style.

Clearance Sale was last seen when placed in open three-year-old company at Doomben in October so is suited in a benchmark 72 first up.

He has plenty of upside and looks ready to fire fresh off two good trials with Michael Rodd in the saddle.

First-up eye catcher Love Struck makes each way appeal later in the program.

He ran on well for a narrow second when resuming at Gold Coast and has won three of four second up attempts so should be improved.

The extra 100m is in his favour and he has good statistics at the course and the distance.
