Gawler gets its chance to hold the metro Saturday meeting again on what might be a tough day.

In Race 6, the best two horses according to the weights and the two coming out of the toughest races are the main play.

Tequila Time put two together on the Parks track to begin this campaign and that form was excellent.

He then went to Flemington for the Listed Kensington Stakes and was made favourite in that. He came fourth but wasn't beaten far at all.

Clearly this time in he's firing on all cylinders and the 2kg claim for Teagan Voorham means he will carry the same weight as he won with back in November.

From the gate he can be positioned anywhere near the front and prove hard to run down.

But don't rule out Terbium running well here. Sometimes the gelding can pull out a big run and just over a year ago he won a good quality sprint this course and distance.

Another horse who deserves a shout out for his form is Secret War and he must go well again in Race 8.

With four wins and four placings he's always giving you a sight and consider on his home track he's got three of those victories.

Preferring to lead or sit right with them, the barrier just allows a great position to kick up and run it to suit.

He's probably short enough now but these consistent horses give more than those who pick and choose.
