The Miss Andretti Stakes is the main race at Ascot with the mares on show.
William Pike has won the last couple of editions for Simon Miller but this time they clash on the favoured runners.
Naturally this is a race of speed but we can foresee the best of Clairvoyance returning to the track now as an older mare.
Her only defeat was by a small margin, and to one of Saturday's opponents, but she didn't appear in full bloom last Autumn.
With the long spell, and off a preparatory trial, it allows her to set up nicely into a Listed Race – a Listed Race that isn't high on quality, hence the small 4kg top to bottom.
A mare with her record doesn't tend to go around at these sort of odds in these sort of races. And perhaps we'll see even better on the weekend.
Earlier on the program, Trix Of The Trade resumes off a very successful first campaign whereby his only defeat was by a slender margin.
Around that he won over this distance twice and up to 1400m showing some strength.
He had good contests with He's A Sizzler in the last couple of those efforts and he could easily have last call on them here.
Two trials prepare him to launch a late attack even in the small field.
