We are still away from the metro area as Murray Bridge is hosting the Saturday card.
The main focus is to play Race 8 where it looks a good two horse strategy.
Heyington Station ran a series of very decent races nearly 12 months ago but couldn't nail down the win.
After some stable switching he resumed six weeks ago by coming from last when well supported over the 1000m on the Parks track.
That was a BM82 and this is grades lower so of course goes up in weight. However the 3kg claim for Ben Price is a huge assistance.
The added 200m and the trial since also appear to benefit so thinking he may sit a little closer now but will in turn love the long straight.
Also in this race is Dominus who had an excellent winning campaign last year and then spelled before kicking back off at Gawler.
The son of Iffraaj was able to sit just off the back of the speed and surged on by to win with plenty in hand.
While maybe even better suited over a tad further, he does love it fresh so the month between runs sets him up perfectly.
He too gets a claim just making the job a little easier and he'll be storming up the centre of Murray Bridge.
