It is Perth’s main juvenile race of the year as they run the Karrakatta Plate and if the market is any indication, there is a good one running.

Since we can't tip you into Amelia's Jewel at $1.65, we'll go looking for a bit better on the card.

In the Ratings 66+ 1000m sprint, you have to like the way How's The Serenity is travelling at present.

The mare has been around the mark at all three runs from a spell and was touched off when odds on last time over the 1200m course.

Back to the shorter track seems a logical step and with the claim against a field struggling to win a race, it is pertinent.

If she doesn't lead she can sit outside and go at the pace her jockey feels most comfortable.

Later on in Race 8, Brooklyn Pier has finally found some form and can go on with it here.

He sat back off the speed over this course and distance and hit home hard to just salute last week.

They clearly want to take advantage of finding that confidence so while up in grade, gets the drop in weight and can run a race at each way odds again.

Some here bring in questionable recent form – at least he doesn't have that issue.
