Capable mare Celavi missed by just a nose when resuming but can atone when she lines up on the Kranji all weather on Sunday.
The Michael Clements-trained mare was having her first run for more than two months last start when she raced on pace and fought strongly to just miss.
She had won seven of 10 on this surface going into that event and steps up to a trip where she has won twice before.
Celavi is also accomplished second-up winning two of her four attempts and Louis-Philippe Beuzelin can secure her the ideal run for the low draw.
Fame Star comes into this off a fighting second-up win where he led and dug deep to score on turf, his eighth success over this journey.
He has won just once before on the all weather but has a 50 per cent strike rate when third up so should be peaking.
It was Sacred Gift that got the better of Celavi last start and his form is hard to fault as that made it back to back successes on the track.
The extra 200m is a concern as he is yet to win at it in nine attempts but he will be at peak fitness.
Gold Star was a beaten favourite when midfield behind Fame Star last time but he has won a trial since then and there was plenty to like about his fresh effort two back when closing well to go under by half a length.
He is proven third up so could bounce back to form.
Entertainer has been out of the money since scoring a win three back but has a 50 per cent strike rate at this track and is drawn to get the favours.
