A strong resuming effort suggests handy mare Better Get Set has returned to racing in good form and with improvement likely she can go one better at Eagle Farm on Saturday.
The O'Dea/Hoysted-trained six-year-old ran above expectations with a resuming second, beaten only one length over 1200m in the Listed Tattersall's Classic at Doomben.
Better Get Set is suited stepping up to a trip where she races well, recording a win and a placing from two attempts.
Ben Thompson who has four wins when partnering stays on and the mare should enjoy a firmer surface.
A much-improved last-start effort should have Arts Object peaking at each way odds in the final event of the day.
The mare raced on pace and fought well to be edged out by just a nose last time at Sunshine Coast and while this is stronger her ratings suggest she can measure up.
