Magic Dancer wins 2015 Phoenix Park 2yo Classic Group 3 NZ$75,000 at Pukekura Raceway (NZ) 2yo, 1200m.
Utilizing barrier one to secure second in the run, Magic Dancer went forward in the middle of a three-way line on the pace inside the 600m and after travelling under a nice hold turning for home she had the race in safekeeping at the 250m and was allowed to coast home over the final stages.
Awkward throughout, Our Rokkii went up three wide to force the issue at the 600m and once balanced in the straight he ran on to fill second comfortably.
Third placed Girlsarebackintown was last at the 800m, tracked up near the rail and once through a gap at the 200m she ran on nicely for third.
Enshrine was back in the field early, improved to be three wide in sixth at the 600m and she fought on tenaciously in centre track for (5.9 lengths) fourth.
