In the form of her life, Lizzie L'Amour gave nothing else a chance and ran right away in the closing stages for the most important and easiest of her now seven career wins.

With a circuit to run rider Matthew Cameron settled her in the one-out, one-back spot holding fourth and then fifth down the back straight.

She improved three deep to be third just prior to straightening, ranged up to the leader at the 250m then gapped them, racing well clear to score impressively by more than five lengths at the post.

A nice stayer's effort from Wildflower who had two behind her at the 800m then kept up a solid run to grab second from Nicoletta who led from the outset, tried to break away in the home straight then fought quite well after being headed at the 250m.

Rangipo was second turning in and held on best of the rest for a fair fourth.
