Accession wins 2018 Inglis Nursery Listed $500,000 at Randwick 1000m.
He did not get the lead until the 100m but Accession came away late for a nice win, his maiden win and stakes win at start two.
Rider Hugh Bowman put him in the race early to sit fourth (rails) in behind the pace. With a great sight at the top of the straight Bowman waited until the 300m to get serious, drove the colt into the lead at the 150m, had a good fight on his hands to the 50m then came away for a nice win by three quarters of a length.
A super run from Strasbourg who, from fourth last turning in, kept on very strongly wide out the length of the straight for an excellent second. From a handy fourth, Namimo took the short way home turning in, ground away next to the fence to share the lead at the 100m and fought well to the post for third. Blazing Miss led them in, still led at the 200m but was collared soon after, fading slightly to fourth.
