Godolphin-raced filly Kiamichi followed up her good win in the Magic Night Stakes (Gr 3, 1200m) here last Saturday with another bold performance, again showing her talent on heavy tracks. She was smartly away from her wide barrier (14) but worked hard in the early stages before crossing to the lead at the 700m. She got a break at the home turn and then fought back gamely for a very good win, her third win in five starts.

Her stablemate Microphone had a nice trip in eighth place on the rails from his inside barrier (1), got through on the inner at the home turn, went to second at the 200m and kept battling well to hold that position, beaten a length.

Another Godolphin runner Lyre did very well in running third. She settled back in 13th place, switched deep at the 300m and then ran on in very good style to take the minor placing at her first start since winning the Blue Diamond Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m) on February 23. Loving Gaby was wide early on from barrier 12, settled in eighth place (but wide). She put in a run on straightening and kept finishing well for (1.8 lengths) in a really smart effort at only her third start.

Time To Reign raced in tenth place, improved between runners at the home turn and kept battling on quite well for (3.8 lengths) fifth.

Anaheed led in the early stages before settling in second place and then held on nicely for (4 lengths) sixth. Yes Yes Yes did well in running on late, wide out, from a clear last for (5.5 lengths) seventh after starting from the outside barrier (16), while the favourite Cosmic Force  had a good trip in sixth place on the rails but just battled on in the straight for (6.3 lengths) eighth.
