Top-class West Australian mare Arcadia Queen made a winning Sydney debut for new trainer Chris Waller in scoring in good style here, her sixth win from seven starts.

Having her first run since taking out the Kingston Town Classic (Gr 1, 1800) at Ascot in December, she settled in fifth place on the rails, improved between runners at the home turn and hit the front at the 200m before going on to score well.

Trope raced in last place in the ten-horse field, went deep on straightening and impressed with his strong-finishing effort to take second.

Gem Song was near last to the home turn and he also ran on really well over the closing stages for third in a very good first-up effort.

Redouble battled nicely for (3.6 lengths) fourth while Deploy tired for (4.9 lengths) fifth after running a bold race in the lead.
