Midweek racing from Bendigo and Warwick Farm and we’ve got a horse to follow from each meeting.

Bendigo Race 2- Legio Ten

Very stylish win from this Godolphin three-year-old, which unfortunately means we're unlikely to get much of a price about him outside of open grade any time soon. Nonetheless, he resumed as a gelding here and ripped home from last over 1100m to win running away. He was already rated to a peak of 92+ when beaten 1.1 lengths into fourth by Elliptical and Dashing last time in and looks set to get back to at least that sort of level as a gelding, comfortably running the fastest time of the three 1100m races on the day despite the track being upgraded later in the day. He can go through his grades nicely over 1200-1400m and win plenty more races.

Warwick Farm Race 3- Waikiki

The fastest of three 1100m races on the day, Waikiki was still a maiden heading into this Bm64 contest but really knuckled down late after having to wait for a run early in the straight. She got the upper hand over Eagle Nest late and they put a good gap on third, the race measuring the fastest last 600m of the day overall. The time looks good considering the last race on the day was a Bm72 won by a fairly handy one in Lavish Empire and Waikiki is one worth following, likely in midweek grade again next time out.
