Wyong Race 7- Bojangles

The Magic Millions meeting at Wyong but I thought Bojangles was the win of the day in a midway benchmark 64, coming from a mile back to charge home and get up on the line. He tackled a couple of handy two-year-old races in his first campaign and has won both starts this time in, posting a pretty slick time compared to the 2yo feature which was run at a good pace. Bojangles has run a length faster overall and also come home ~3 lengths faster for the last 600m. He looks capable of measuring up to Saturday grade.

Mornington Race 4 – Sibel

Must preface this with a warning that the Mornington track was downgraded after this race with rain and storms, so measuring the times against the card is going to throw up some tricky results. That said, Sibel was dominant and clearly the fastest speed figure on the card, leading and winning by 5 lengths. He's run a fair bit faster than Walter Spur who won the 0-64 by 3.75 lengths over the same distance the race after, but the track was downgraded in between. If placed conservatively, Sibel can win plenty more races off this effort.
