Midweek racing from Ballarat and Randwick Kensington and we’ve got a horse to follow from each meeting.
Randwick Kensington Race 4 – Autumnmation
Nice run stepping out to the 1400m, running on strongly from too far back to grab third. She's still a maiden after seven starts but looks in desperate need of more ground now. The winner here is fairly handy and out to 1600m next time and even further in the future, the daughter of Derby winner The Autumn Sun should be breaking her maiden shortly.
Ballarat Race 2 – Pure Rain
Nice return from this filly who rounded them up with ease at Ballarat and beat one that had already caught the eye on debut in Grouse Mountain. She sat back near last and ran past Grouse Mountain who had every chance in the run, with a solid gap back to third. On a fairly even day of midweek racing, she looks one that could potentially measure up in other races going forward.
