Tigers' AFL star Riewoldt fined for tackle

AFL match review officer Michael Christian has slapped Richmond forward Jack Riewoldt with a $1000 fine for his "chicken-wing" tackle on Bayley Fristch.

Richmond forward Jack Riewoldt has copped a fine for his "chicken-wing" tackle on Melbourne opponent Bayley Fritsch.

AFL match review officer Michael Christian charged Riewoldt with misconduct and served him a $1000 fine for the incident at the MCG on Anzac Eve.

Riewoldt's teammate Toby Nankeveris was fined $2000 for striking Tom McDonald, while Demons forward Jake Melksham was also charged with misconduct and offered a $1500 fine for pushing Josh Caddy into the path of an umpire.
