Police have reported an alleged shooting near the city of Geelong where a man has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A man is fighting for his life in hospital after being shot in regional Victoria.
Police say emergency services responded to reports that a man had been shot at an address on Bacchus Marsh Road in Lara, north of Geelong, just before 6pm on Wednesday.
He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The victim is yet to be formally identified and police say the investigation is ongoing.
