St George Illawarra forward Tariq Sims will have to contest a grade-one dangerous charge at the NRL judiciary to avoid a one-game suspension.
St George Illawarra star Tariq Sims is facing a one-game NRL ban following his high hit on Wests Tigers playmaker Josh Reynolds on Sunday.
Sims was on Monday slapped with a grade-one dangerous contact charge, which, with loading, takes him past the 100-point threshold.
Dragons teammate Paul Vaughan (dangerous contact) and Manly forward Sean Keppie (dangerous throw) also copped grade-one charges but can escape suspensions with early guilty pleas.
