Canterbury centre Reimis Smith has copped a one-match ban at the NRL judiciary on Tuesday night for dangerous contact.

Smith was found guilty after being slapped with a grade-one charge for kneeing St George Illawarra winger Mikaele Ravalawa in the first half of Monday's 22-2 win.

He will miss Sunday's clash with Sydney Roosters, with Kerrod Holland - who has twice come off the bench for Bulldogs coach Dean Pay this year - expected to fill the backline vacancy.

Meanwhile, Gold Coast pair Ash Taylor and Sam Lisone both avoided one-game bans after taking the early guilty plea to dangerous contact charges.
