How Queensland's players rated in State of Origin II at ANZ Stadium.
VALENTINE HOLMES - Hadn't played a game in almost two months and it showed. Barely sighted in attack. Kicked one from two with the boot. 5
XAVIER COATES - Scored the opening try with a freakish, flying dive for the corner. Had little opportunity to attack otherwise. 6
KURT CAPEWELL - Showed no signs of his groin niggle and made some strong carries, including a second-half break which led to Queensland's second try. 7
DANE GAGAI - Queensland's best on a tough night. Set up the Coates try and made a brilliant try-saving tackle on James Tedesc but beaten one-on-one by Wighton for the Blues' centre's try. 7.5
PHILLIP SAMI - Had a torrid night as he was constantly targeted by the Blues' attack and was monstered by Josh Addo-Carr. 4
CAMERON MUNSTER - Only lasted two minutes before a head knock ruled him out of the match. Will be in a race to be clear for game three. No rating.
DALY CHERRY-EVANS - Couldn't attack the line like he did in game one with the Blues dominating possession and territory. Kicking game was OK. Set up Josh Papalii for second-half try. 6
DUNAMIS LUI - Started brightly on his Origin debut with some hard runs. Effectiveness waned as the Blues took control. 6.5
JAKE FRIEND - Barely made any running metres and one kick went out on the full. Made 44 tackles but couldn't stop opposite number Damien Cook dominating the ruck. 5.5
JOSH PAPALII - Quiet first half in contrast to his opening stint in game one. Got on the end of a short ball by Cherry-Evans to score in the second 40. 7
FELISE KAUFUSI - Not the back-rower's greatest night in a Queensland jersey. Gave away a couple of penalties and was part of the left edge targeted by the Blues' attack. 6
JAYDN SU'A - Given a starting role by Wayne Bennett and began brightly. Some strong carries and 34 tackles. Did OK in a well-beaten team. 7
TINO FA'ASUAMALEAUI - Sent to the sin-bin in the second half after a scrap with Payne Haas but was Queensland's best forward in just his second Origin. Led the pack with 108 running metres and had three tackle busts. 7.5
BEN HUNT - Thrust into the game after Munster's head knock. Made some clever kicks but struggled at times in defence. 5.5
LINDSAY COLLINS - Didn't have the same impact off the bench as in game one but still did a good solid job with 89 running metres and 33 tackles. 7
JAI ARROW - Like Collins made some solid metres and plenty of tackles off the bench but impact was nowhere near as noticeable as last week. 6.5
MOEAKI FOTUAIKA - Made 20 running metres and 17 tackles in an otherwise forgettable Origin debut for the youngster. 5.5
