Teenage Warriors star Reece Walsh and NSW Origin hopeful Tariq Sims are among six players cited by the NRL's match review panel.
Warriors young gun Reece Walsh is facing his first NRL suspension while Dragon Tariq Sims is free for NSW State of Origin selection after both were cited by the NRL's match review panel.
The Warriors could lose both Walsh and centre Adam Pompey for a week after both were charged following Friday night's 29-28 loss to North Queensland.
Teenager Walsh, who has only played five NRL matches, was charged with striking after retaliating to an alleged high shot by Mitchell Dunn, who was cited for making dangerous contact (head/neck).
For both, an early guilty would see them miss one match but two if they unsuccessfully fight their charge at the judiciary.
The same applies to Pompey, who was cited for a crusher tackle on Cowboys second-rower Heilum Luki.
Sims was charged with making dangerous contact (head/neck) with Jacob Liddle during St George Illawarra's 34-18 loss to Wests Tigers on Friday night.
However the second-rower can pay a $1500 fine for the grade one offence, which means he's still available for the Blues for Origin game one on June 9.
Warriors hardman Jazz Tevaga can pay a fine for making dangerous contact while Tigers second-rower Luciano Leilua can accept a one-match ban for a shoulder charge on Dragons forward Blake Lawrie.
