SNAPSHOT OF NRL'S ROUND 22

* Quote of the round: "Officials are like the prime minister or premiers aren't they? Either half hate them or half like them depending on what happens. They don't get many plaudits, so to make it easier let's get our rules sorted before the season starts so we've all got a chance." - Warriors coach Nathan Brown was diplomatic when asked about high-contact rules that continue to be a source of confusion late in the season.

* Stat that matters: South Sydney are the first team in history to score 30+ points in eight straight games.

* Magic moment: Sydney Roosters makeshift centre Adam Keighran stood up with four goals from four attempts, including the match-winning penalty 10 metres from the sideline in the final minute of the game.

* Talking point: The Warriors - With three straight victories and with winnable games to come against the Broncos, Raiders and Titans, they could sneak into the playoffs despite sitting 12th on the ladder

* Man of the round: Cody Walker continues to raise the bar - the South Sydney playmaker is leading the competition in try assists (32) and linebreak assists (50), as well as being the Bunnies' second-highest tryscorer for this season.

* Judiciary watch: Parramatta - Ryan Matterson (careless high tackle), West Tigers - Jacob Liddle (crusher tackle), Thomas Mikaele (crusher tackle), North Queensland - Griffin Neame (crusher tackle), Sydney Roosters - Victor Radley (dangerous contact), Brisbane - Tyson Gamble (crusher tackle), Canberra - Corey Harawira-Naera (dangerous contact), Cronulla -Braden Hamlin Uele (dangerous contact), Briton Nikora (dangerous contact), Newcastle - Mitch Barnett (high tackle), David Klemmer (crusher tackle).

* Under pressure: Brad Arthur and Parramatta. What is going on at the Eels? On the back of four straight losses they have dropped to sixth with a tough run home still to come.
