Perth Glory remain in the hunt for an A-League finals berth but must perform in a massive three-game away trip to make the top-six.
Perth Glory will embrace the difficulties of a travel-heavy three-game stint as they attempt to secure an A-League finals berth.
After eight consecutive home games, the Glory will complete the regular season with three games on the road, starting with Sunday's clash with Wellington Phoenix at Auckland's Eden Park.
The Glory, who have had multiple extended away trips this season amid changing border restrictions, will fly to Sydney on Thursday and stay overnight before flying to Auckland on Friday ahead of their game against Wellington.
They will then fly directly to Brisbane for their clash with the Roar on June 2, before travelling to Newcastle to face the Jets on June 5.
"We've got momentum, we've got a week to have a rest," coach Richard Garcia said after Sunday's 1-1 draw with Macarthur FC.
"It's still a huge challenge. We've got, I think, 12,500 kilometres to travel and three games in a week.
"But looking in that dressing room, there's a bunch of guys that are up for that challenge."
Seventh-placed Perth sit two points behind sixth-placed Brisbane, who have a game in hand, and four back from Macarthur and Central Coast.
Garcia was confident his squad had pulled up well after their eight-game home stint, which delivered four wins, two draws and two losses and included the last seven games crammed into 23 days.
Perth will focus on recovery before Garcia plans to take the largest possible squad on the extended away trip.
"I'll try to take as many (players) as we can," he said.
"You've got three games in seven days ... and a lot of miles to cover.
"So we're going to need everybody in the squad and the more we take, the better."
