Italian Camila Giorgi took barely an hour to move into the semi-finals of the Tenerife Open beating Arantxa Rus 6-1, 6-1.
Camila Giorgi, the only seeded player left in the Tenerife Open, has reached the semi-finals with a 6-1, 6-1 defeat of Arantxa Rus, of Netherlands.
Giorgi, who climbed back into the world's top 40 after her victory in the Canadian Open earlier this year, wrapped up victory in 61 minutes.
In the semi-final she wil play Maria Camila Osorio Serrano, of Colombia, who knocked out China's Zheng Saisai 7-5, 6-1.
In the other half of the draw Alize Cornet, of France, defeated Slovakia's Anna-Karolina Schmiedlova 6-3, 6-3.
Cornet will now meet American Ann Li. The 21-year-old Pennsylvanian beat Irina-Camelia Begu, of Romania, 7-5, 7-5.
