Alex de Minaur is the last Australian in the US Open singles following a fourth-round exit for Davis Cup teammate Jordan Thompson.

Thompson's career-best grand slam run came to end with a straight-sets fourth-round US Open loss to Croatian Borna Coric on Monday.
But the 26-year-old Sydneysider planned on leaving New York with only great vibes and renewed belief.
"A great week. Six months off tennis and nearly starting at the US Open and I made my first fourth round at a grand slam. It's only positive," Thompson said following his 7-5 6-1 6-3 loss to Coric, the 27th seed.
"Yeah, an an incredible week for me. I'm playing good tennis, looking forward to getting on the clay so it's given me a lot of confidence."
Thompson's charge to the last 16 surpassed his third-round showing at last year's French Open.
Now he hopes to go even further at Roland Garros, when the claycourt slam gets underway on September 21.
With a $US250,000 cheque to cash and his ranking heading north again, the new world No.55 said he couldn't wait to get to Paris.
"I'll probably head out tomorrow," Thompson said.
"Obviously I have to wait to get tests too make sure I'm clear to travel but that will be the plan - get to Europe, get on the dirt and play some more tennis. I'm looking forward to it."
Thompson's departure leaves Alex de Minaur, who plays unseeded Canadian Vasek Pospisil on Tuesday for a place in the quarter-finals, as the last Australian alive in the singles in New York.
Coric was backing up from his epic 4-1/2 hour third-round triumph over fourth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas but showed no signs of fatigue in advancing himself to the last eight of a major for the first time.
After taking a tight opening set, Coric upped the ante to win 13 of 16 games to seize command.
Offering no excuses, just regrets that he didn't serve so well, Thompson admitted he had no answers.
"He knuckled down and played really solid, didn't give me anything," Thompson said.
"He didn't give me any errors, made a lot of first serves, a lot of returns, made some good passing shots, some good lobs.
"Yeah, he looked physically strong too after backing up that marathon two nights ago so all credit to him. Too good."
Coric will play German fifth seed Alexander Zverev for a semi-final berth.
The pair's top half of the draw is wide open following the disqualification of world No.1 Novak Djokovic for accidentally hitting a lineswoman in the throat with a ball.
