Sam Kerr's triumphant season with Chelsea looks set to be capped with yet another award when her fellow players vote for the best woman player of the season.
The Matildas captain has been shortlisted for the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) player of the year award, the honour which is bestowed by the country's professional players themselves.
Kerr has already won the Football Writers' Association award for her amazing campaign in which she was once again the leading scorer in the Women's Super League with 20 goals and scored a winning brace in the FA Cup final as Chelsea annexed the league and Cup 'double'.
Kerr will be a hot favourite to lift the award after her dazzling finale to the season in which she also scored two astonishing goals for the Blues in their title-sealing final league match at home to Manchester United.
Her main competition for the prestigious prize comes from Arsenal forward Vivianne Miedema, who's long been Kerr's rival for the title 'best striker' in the English women's game, and the Aussie's Danish clubmate Pernille Harder.
Manchester City pair Alex Greenwood and Lauren Hemp, along with Arsenal midfielder Kim Little, complete the shortlist for the award that will be announced on 9 June.
Meanwhile, Manchester City powerhouse Kevin De Bruyne could be on course for a hat-trick of PFA men's player of the year awards after he was shortlisted again.
The Belgium international was magnificent as City retained their Premier League title this season and will be favourite to win it for a third straight year.
He is joined on the list by Liverpool trio Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Virgil van Dijk, Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo and Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
De Bruyne's teammate Phil Foden is on the shortlist for the Young Player of the Year gong, along with Arsenal midfield duo Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith-Rowe, Chelsea's Crystal Palace loanee Conor Gallagher, Chelsea full-back Reece James and Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey.
