Crackerjack King will not be entered for the Cox Plate after sustaining a suspensory ligament injury over the weekend.
The David Hayes-trained import had swelling in the leg after a workout on Saturday.
Scans on Sunday confirmed the injury and subsequently, the Shamardal entire will not be entered for the Group 1 Cox Plate on Saturday.
Crackerjack King was found to be lame after his last raceday outing in the Caulfield Stakes.
The Australian Thoroughbred Bloodstock-raced import placed the start prior when third behind Foreteller in the Underwood Stakes.
